OPEN SCENE ACTIVITIES
OPEN MIC EVENTS
This is your chance to get up on stage and perform, backed by professional musicians. Choose a song or two, and we will work with you to get the most out of it.
Completely open to anyone who wants to perform; bands, loose constellations and random musical collaborations that arise there and then.
You can also choose to just come up on stage in a more open mic setting, alone or with your friends. Have fun, sing a song, perform your piece of work for the audience.
We are lucky enough to have Terje Støldal as the leader of the band for the Open Mic sessions. Since the mid-90s he has participated in concerts, recordings and television program with many Norwegian as well as international artists.
Be a spectator at the Kulturhuset - or perform! Either way, save the dates.
January 29th 19:00
February 26th 19:00
March 26th 19:00

SEMINAR: KEEP WHAT YOU CREATE
In this seminar, you will enjoy information and examples, showing how you can better prepare to “Keep what you create”. Your Intellectual Property (IP) is yours – but you must understand and protect it!
This seminar will provide examples and information that will make it easier for young people to understand how they can project their creative IP (songs, text, ideas, concepts), providing a start point for sustainable career development.
Instructor Per Ole Hagen has had a successful career within the creative industries – film, music, photography as well a long-time lecturer at the University of Oslo, Norway. He also worked as the Manager of Music Rights for 8 years at NRK. His focus has been both practical and legal as well as being career-oriented from the student’s perspective.
