Terje Støldal is the leader of the Åpen Scene house band.
Since the mid-90s, he has participated in recordings with artists such as Swedish Ace of Bace and Charlotte Nilsson, Danish Søs Fenger and Shaky Ground, and American Chip Taylor. He has participated in recordings with Norwegian artists such as Jahn Teigen, Henning Kvitnes, Lars Martin Myhre, Louis Jacoby, Paal Flaata, Hilde Heltberg, Frode Alnæs, Marthe Valle, Robert Moses + many more.
Concertgoers have seen him with artists such as Sivert Høyem, Tommy Tokyo, Paal Flaata, Henning Kvitnes, Rita Eriksen, Hilde Heltberg, Odd Børretzen & Lars Martin Myhre, Louis Jacoby, Jørn Hoel, Steinar Albriktsen, Anita Skorgan, Øyvind Elgenes, Frode Alnæs + many more.
On TV he has performed with artists such as Arne Bendiksen, Tor Endresen, Katrina Leskanich - Katrina and the Waves, Tony Hadley - Spandau Ballet, Bobbysocks, Henning Kvitnes, Odd Børretzen & Lars Martin Myhre, Kristian Ingebrigtsen, Tommy Tokyo + many more.
Terje Støldal released the album "Fast Traveler" on vinyl on May 5, 2023. The album was released digitally on May 8, 2023, and has received rave reviews.
Now, Terje can be found every month as the leader of the Åpen Scene House band at the Kulturhuset. Join him as a performer or a spectator, we look forward to seeing you!
HIMF 2025
HALDEN INTERNATIONAL MUSIC FILM FESTIVAL
The third annual HIMF will be staged from October 29 – 31, 2025 and you are invited! Films, seminars, and concerts. You will get a taste of a major local event as attendee or even part of our team!
HIMF 2024 had a total of over 1000 visitors. The film program included 10 films, including Norwegian premieres as well as festival premieres.
